If you fancy a bit of a change of job this summer then here’s something that could suit – Ian from Bike Bulgaria has got in touch to say that he’s a vacancy open for a guide.
Based near the sunny Black Sea resort of Ozbor and the Stara Planina Mountains, the position will run from from the beginning of May until mid October, taking groups of riders to soak up the riding and culture on offer in the area. The successful candidate will have some guiding experience, a First Aid qualification, a full driving license and good mechanical skills – enjoying meeting new people is a plus as well.
Accommodation will be included along with a weekly salary of 200 Lev – not bad when you consider a pint of decent beer costs 0.9 Lev and the cost of living is much lower than in other EU member states.
