The tubing used in the construction of the Pisgah has been sourced internationally, which has enabled Litespeed to produce a frame at a less-than-bonkers price point for a USA-made, manipulated titanium frame. The Pisgah is 100% produced at our factory in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Pisgah will share the same geometry as the Litespeed Obed.

Features include:

• Available in 4 sizes
• RDS dropout system enables changing from conventional to singlespeed dropouts
• Cold-worked, Geometrically Enhanced Titanium tube set
• Aerospace-grade tapered, shaped and oversized 3/2.5v titanium tubes
• Heavily manipulated downtube shaped for fork crown clearance and headtube stiffness
• Ovalized seat tube/downtube junction to ensure drivetrain stiffness and power transfer
• Compatible with 80-120 mm travel fork
• Lifetime warranty
• Handmade in the USA

    Nice stickers!!!!!!!!!

“The tubing used in the construction of the Pisgah has been sourced internationally,”

    What does that mean exactly?

nasty dent in that down tube 😀

    I think it looks lurvely.
Probably some quality pipe manufactured where the labour is allowed to inhale the “fumes of death”
Sod the Obed, i’m having one of these.

Brant that’s American for ‘commie pinko China’

sourced internationally: code for cheap chinese tubing.

    What, like an ONONE.

It’s alright Zack, you dont work there anymore.

Who’s it made by?… can’t quite make out the graphics

    Now that is stunning..!!
looks like a good price for such a quality bit of kit, I regret selling my Obed so might have to get one and back into Ti…!

My OBED is lush, more subtle than this too.

that’s odd, I actually like the replaceable drop outs. they aren’t ugly.

    Okay .
this gives me something to start savig for then.
thank god for staff rates eh.

I’m sure wherever that Ti is sourced from they wont have stooped to the cheap crap everyone else uses…
I’m pretty sure Litespeed’s tube manipulation couldn’t be done on an inferior tubeset….!
They are still the best Ti Manufacturers on the planet and I’m pretty sure no-one would dispute that..!!

    Even Brant………. ;0)

Sea-Urchin- see Seven Cycles for the best Ti frames 🙂

Yuk. Simply. Those graphics just don’t fit at all. Naaaasty. As for those dropouts – could they make them look like more of an afterthought? Nice tacked on brace for the disc mount…

My £1700 would go towards an IF or an almost complete ZeroFour 9ti I’m afraid. Swing & a miss by Litespeed.

How often do you have to retighten those rear dropout bolts? Why is it soo gopping for 1700 big ones?!
NO TI FRAME is worth more than 1k in my books, especially as most are made from standard metal found in Russia etc.

Nice but those drop outs look a little fragile — there’s not a lot of metal round the screw holes.
To answer Hora, my Dean has similar (but chunkier) drop outs and they have only once needed tightening in three years.
I do think that on a frame at that price they should have fitted a rather neat set of sliding drop outs. There’s enough people running singlespeed or hub gears these days to warrant it.

Litespeed are making Ti components for NASA, I reckon they know what they are doing.

Anyone want to buy my OBED?

Handmade in the USA – is this a good thing?
    God Bless America
Think the whyte 19 looks better.

    @ Steve

Litespeed make the Whyte bike..But I agree the idea of UK specced Ti HT is nice 😉
