Bar end caps will become available after the issue 48 has come out ( March 2nd) and will be available to subscribers only to begin with as there are only 24 pairs available. Get in line now 🙂
I’ve been running the 203mm Ashima rotors for a few months now, (edinburghbicycle have had them in stock for a while :)) I popped them on my DH wheels – cos they needed some rotors.
They are excellent, in a word. They clear brilliantly in mud, and the bite is, I reckon, better than the standard Hope floating rotors on the Mono M4. They’re lighter as well, IIRC.
i run slim tubes on both bikes now for over a year, not 1 flat yet so a big thumbs up from me. only down side choose your pressure right as letting air out gets you all mucky
Anybody can order custom laser etched bar caps from Straitline, lots of colours avaiable too. why anybody would be frothing over STW ones is beyond me? Design yer own!!!
yee ha! I want a bar top please! when will they be on the shop?
Ta Dan
those Ashima look interesting, do they do 200’s?
can’t work out if the dual compound is a particularly good idea though?
any blue bar ends?

MrNutt – Yep, we have a pair of Ashima rotors in 180mm and 203mm on test.
that picture of the box of bontrager tubes is piss-poor.

I actually thought I’d deleted that one :-/
mmm ok, consider the line joined! (white or blue if available) oh and if you’re stuck for someone to test those 203 rotors! 😉 😆
look forward to hearing reviews on those Ashima pads. interesting combo of compounds.
An Englishman making aftermarket brake pads in the far East. What could possibly go wrong? 😉
Well it’s nice to know I wasn’t the only one who found a top-out clunk with their Thor…

Slime filled tubes – how hefty (in grammes) is “hefty” please?
those shades would be a perfect colour for my bike, but in general im wondering people would prefur ‘go- faster’ ‘red’ ?
