You know those pump tracks that are made from wood and turn up at events in vans? Does anyone know any companies / people who have ’em? I’m working on an event in May and we might like to get one for a day or two.
I’ve seen The Forestry Commission with one at Fort Bill and the kids love it.

That’s funny I read that as portable track pumps.

I wondered why you would want to rent them!

Try contacting Tweed Love or No Fuss, they would know

haha, richmtb – I’ve got a track pump, fully paid up and everything.

I’ve actually, since posting this, found the exact company who supply the FC at FW and I’m gonna drop them an email.

There was a cool little track at the BBB – my kid was on it for ages, but for some reason I’ve got no photos of it.

Found pics – it was ShoreTrax http://www.mayafiddlerphotography.com/photo16907653.html#photo

We were gonna do a pursuit race on it, but they change the layout before we got there 🙁

We’ve got one. It was the one used at the London Bike Show the other week:

We’re the UK distributor, so they’re available to hire or buy.

Biketrackpeople (based in Innerleithen) have one, and also their timber trail that they were using at the world cup and the scottish bike show

Haven’t ridden the current pumptracks but the timber trail is fantastic. Best use of a climbing wall ever
