It is based just behind Morrison's between Harrogate and Knaresborough - obviously they don't grow the tea there. That's where the poncy marketing department made up the claims that the tea is blended in a way that is perfect for Yorkshire Water. They aren't specific about which part of Yorkshire the water is assumed to be from though.

Home made white (3/4" slices), Bacon (unsmoked, thin cut, 3 rashers), egg (large, runny yolk), real butter, ketchup (applied liberally).

If you're hands are clean afterwards you've done it wrong.

This thread has turned out to be food snobbery at its finest in some cases...same people that are seduced my the M & S food adverts. AS its British Sausage Week. You cant beat a nice sausage butty with loads of brown sauce Yum!

Barmcake
Spread some brown sauce on the bottom bit and put some black pudding on it.
Next, some mustard that american hotdog stuff works well then add sausage followed by ketchup and finally two fried eggs with runny yolks a twist of black pepper and it's done. Serve with a mug of tea. It is vital that the butty is assembled in that order so that everything works together.

Almost perfect. Drop the tomatoes and cranberry and add cold bread sauce.

ok my bread-based pleasure:
thick hand cut granary bread
thinly sliced cheese
sliced cucumber
sliced mushrooms
3 chopped tiny tomatoes
assorted sliced red/green/yellow/orange sweet peppers
lettuce (lots)
olive paste
mayo

quite a balancing act...
sometimes I add gherkins or sliced beetroot, or replace the olive paste with hummus
