Hi,

Just wanting to get my bike insured against theft. I live in a shared house, and M&S and the like just seem to do contents insurance for wholy owned homes rather then shared houses.

Any recomendations?

are you a student? try endsleigh – pop in they always seemed better in the office than on the phone. i had to keep my bike in the (locked) room though…

If your a student you might be able to get in under your parents insurance?

No not a student, just live in a shared house with friends, with the bike fixed to the wall in the basement.

i am in a similar position and use HSBC contents insurance that cover bikes when they are in the property/garage only.

however when i take them out they are not covered. not an issue as they are always with me.
