PEAK 100
The Spring Classic Sportive for Charity!

Back for its second year PEAK 100 returns for what promises to be another spring classic!
Many of you will have taken part in The Macc Monster in October to end your cycling season so what better way to get back in the saddle and raise vital funds for children’s cancer research while experiencing a spectacular route spread across Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire!

It's 'only' 100kms, or more accurately 105kms, but it's all quality, with very little filler.
As ever, there is full route signage on bright orange correx, a well stocked feedstation, SAG wagon support and of course – the BBQ at the end!

Making use of mainly backroads, with only very brief main road transitions, the PEAK 100 promises to be a spring classic.

The event features:
• Event start facilities inc toilets, changing and free car parking
• Start pack inc. rider number, energy products and sponsor forms
• Full route signposting
• Sag wagon support
• Event photographer
• Well stocked main Feedstation
• Publication of rider times
• Finish facilities inc toilets and changing
• Finish BBQ

Registation fee is £25.
Or alternatively you can e-mail chris@kidscan.org.uk with your details, and post your fee £25 by cash or cheque.
This is charity cycle sportive, so if you would like to raise additional funds with sponsorship we would be more than happy to supply you with the necessary materials.

That looks adequately lumpy. Dartmoor is sold out and I missed the HONC (othankyougod!) and that's near my olds. I remember riding some of that as a lad with a bar mounted saddlebag

Good cause as well. Shall see if I can rope my bro in as he'll give me a good excuse to go slowly.

We hope to see you and as many friends and family members as you can rope in!
Although it is a challenging ride, you'd be surprised how many people push themselves that extra mile when they know there's a cup of tea and a burger waiting for them at the end!

Right Andy I'm in. I can practice on my trackbike until I find a roadbike. Will drop you an email for the address for payment etc organiser dude.

The last time I rode a roadbike was 22yrs ago when I was in great shape

February has only just begun and we have over 40 riders taking part so far!
There’s plenty of time left to sign up and we’re hoping to get over 200!

In other news, the start and finish point is being relocated.
This will slightly affect the route, but not by much.
The move will benefit riders who are travelling to the start by car and hopefully be easier to find!

Mini-Crisis Averted!

The start and end point will be the same as last year's PEAK 100 and Macc Monster.
For any of you who have signed up, the information you'll have downloaded for your bike satnav's will be correct.
For those of you coming by car there is parking around Big Storage, Macclesfield on Fence Avenue.

We're just about to order the energy products for PEAK 100!

We're well over 100 riders now and should hit at least 150 by 15th April!

IMPORTANT: NEW START AND FINISH POINT FOR PEAK 100 THIS SUNDAY.

Dear All,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, at very short notice we have been informed we are unable to use our normal start and finish point for PEAK 100 (Big Storage Fence Avenue, Macclesfield).

The ride will instead be starting from SOUTH PARK PAVILION.
