40th in mens pairs on silly singlespeeds whilst having a jolly time and not taking it seriously and sharing sweeties and banter with people as we were cycling. 😀
will have to go against the SS secret code and be try hards next time and see if we can do any better

That bit past the start and finish was one of the few places flat enough to take one hand off the bars for a drink.
Regarding the comments on my chain, I think I over oiled it. That’s a thick layer of dust stuck to it, not rust.
