I've noticed that the freehub on my Hope Pro 2 seems to be sticking/dragging a bit. Not sure if it actually makes pedalling any more difficult but it doesnt seem right as the cranks don't spin backwards freely like they used to - I noticed as I tend to kick them round when getting on the bike if the pedal isn't in the right position. Any ideas what causes this, if it affects pedalling efficiency at all and is the only fix a new freehub?

it probably just needs stripping cleaning and regreasing. If you are unlucky it needs a new bearing or two. Strip and check. vEry simply to strip and clean the freehub.

Could it not be the BB bearings or derailleur pulleys? How have you decided that it's the hub?

Possibly derailleur, didnt think to check that. BB bearings seem fine.

Any one of the above suggestions, but my money's on the outer freehub bearing as the most likely culprit.
