Whyte Winter 50s Enduro Races Announced

If you’re feeling a bit deflated now a busy summer of enduro riding is over then there’s no need to get S.A.D, as Whyte Bikes and event organisers Trail Break will be organising a series of 50km ‘half enduros’ over the coming months.

The new races will be a part of Trail Break’s Trail Ride series, adding a 50km open hill enduro alongside the short and mid distance Trail Rides. As you’d expect the routes will be comprehensively marking and you’ll get an A4 route map plus GPS route files if you register by this Friday. There will be free SiS energy drink at the start and on the trail, full catering at the event base and RFID electronic timing..

The first of the Whyte Winter 50s takes place at this Saturday, the 6th November, with the Southern Trail Ride from Duncton on the South Downs. The tough course rides up and over the Downs, combining sections of the South Downs way itself with some of the great tracks rolling off the sides of the ridge.

On December 4th, the series moves on to Princes Risborough for a pre-Christmas ride out in the Chiltern Hills. Three further New Year dates will be announced shortly, running monthly through to March, before April sees the return of the bigger summer enduro distances to headline the events.

Details and entry can be found at trailbreak.co.uk or you can call 0118 988 6041 for more information.
