Gore is known for keeping its customers dry and warm, be it on skis, shoveling snow, working outside or hiking in the rain. The company has also made great strides in the bicycle market. If you ride when the weather sucks, you’ll want to check out some Gore Bike Wear kit.
The company recently sent us a pile of goods, and we’ll be reviewing them here and in the printed magazine. Here’s a selection of what we have in (and on) hand.

I’ve seen a couple of companies coming out with weatherproof socks such as these Universal Windstopper socks. Pull them on over your cycling socks, and under your shoes.

The Equipe GTX cap is a waterproof and windproof lid for under the helmet, and Universal Windstopper Gloves…well…stop wind.

All set for cold weather riding. The Oxygen Partial Thermo Bibtights are nice and toasty and include Windstopper fabric. The Thermo Shirt long sleeve baselayer has Windstopper on the front, and more breathable fabric on the back. I’ll be turning to this a lot this winter.

The Power Trail Gore-Tex Active Jacket looks to be perfectly at home on any cycling adventure, a rippin’ mountain bike ride, a light day on the ski slopes or on a quick commute to the market in the rain. Quite adaptable.

Resplendent in Phonak colors, the Alp-X Pro Soft Shell Zip-Off Jersey is billed as a jersey and jacket in one. I particularly like the zip-off sleeves, revealing a good vest.
