Stunning morning for a club ride. (Forgot to take a pic of my bike ??‍♂️ (face-palm emoji in case emoji doesn’t work)

Stunning weather and autumnal colour for my mate’s birthday ride. Found a new trail near Staunton a couple of weeks ago, and rode it today. Was occasionally sketchy with damp rock and muddy tyres, but all good in the end.

@singlespeedstu – always good to see a Bardino out 🙂

And even tho I probably paid too much for this 2019 Yeti SB130 LR (especially after having to fix most of it!), it’s my fav trail bike for this kind of riding.

Tis the season for big mudguards and even bigger spikes, at least I thought it was, trails were super grippy and mostly slop-free.

Not exactly a ride, but golden falling leaves in the air and on ledges were pretty down this gurt big ‘ole in the Dales yesterday…

Was your pic taken near Staunton?

Yep. First set are just above “wave rock”. Vidcaps are a new trail to us between Billy’s and Rusty Cable. Meets the bottom of Billy’s. There’s one rock drop with a gap we all decided to save until it was bone dry!

The change is much later this year but it’s starting, let’s hope the leaves stay on the trees long enough.

This has started much earlier though .

Out in the woods 

Early morning ride in Swaledale for me. 

Yair again with a slippy slidey sniper. Bigger than usual group.

Managed to time our ride yesterday with the sunny spell this weekend. Not so nice today, but at least I got back out before it started piddling down.

Earlyish solo ride around my local woods

There is a reservoir, it’s in Wales and you get overtaken by eMTB all the time. 

Well it had clouded over by the time I got out, but I rode some mega new tracks. Not many good photos because I was too preoccupied either navigating or being terrified. It was mint!
