@RscottI always find my shirt a bit creased and looking a bit rubbish by the time I get there

Just take a week’s worth in and hang them up on the sale rack marked £30 each. No-one will touch them!

I always find my shirt a bit creased and looking a bit rubbish by the time I get there.

i find that the best way to bring a shirt in every day is to button iit up and then fold it neatly. then get one of those small Next carrier bags and slide it into the bag. if the shirt is folded correctly it will slide into the bag perfectly and then slide your boxers under the shirt and stick the socks in the collar space. the bag should then fold over and can be slid into a rucksack.
when you get it out the shirt should still remain crease free with the only visible creases being from the folding process. it gives you that “just got the shirt out of the packet” look.
judging by the amount of crap i seem to carry in my bag, i’ve never had a crumpled shirt in the 3 years i’ve been commuting

    Good thread. I’ve learnt something:

Pump (but no spare tube or repair kit – must have got blasé about punctures at some point!)

Shirt & Socks (they’re not in the bag now, I’m wearing them, but when I’m doing the commuting, that’s when they’re in the bag)
Drybag to keep shirt nice (shirt folded nicely – as above.)Blaaaackberryberet
    Multitool
    Bank statement (?)
Emergency lights. (i.e. front and rear bicycle lights, not building power failure lighting)

I always thought the best way to pack a shirt was to fold the arms in and roll around the underwear. Never ends up creased for me.

    laptop – grrrrrrrr
shirt (fold sleeves in, fold shirt and roll carefully into plastic bag/underwear
    rain jacket
    pump
    wallet
    keys
    building pass
phone and couple of leads to charge and headphones
    two spare tubes
patch kit (with spare chain links inside box)
    decent multi tool

I wish I could drop the laptop but sometimes end up working at the office and somedays at home. I need to get a second laptop sorted from work. Hmmm wonder if I can arrange that… theres an idea.

EDIT: cold can of pussy, always take one for when I get to work. Its a red bull of sorts, ha. theres many jopkes in the name but I’ll let you work some out for yourselves.
