I was thinking not so much “rescue deal”, more “change of trading arrangements”. Sounds like Brant got shafted by the tax folks due to incorrect advice. Maybe this change just makes more sense in light of those tax rules.

I believe (in a I just made this up kinda way) that he is leaving the bike business and setting up a new venture specialising in amputee pornography

NO truth in that at all. Planet X are in excellent health in every way. Other than that, I’m not going to speculate.

On the “how much are you paid thread”, Brant said he owned shares in a bike company that’s doing very well, so it’s probably not anything related to bad financial health of the company.
