Hi, managed to completely knacker the freewheel on my In-Bred at a wet Afan the other week, and need a replacement.

With the way things are atm Mrs J will kill me if I shelled out 70/80 quid for a Whites Industries freewheel, so any suggestions of what good Value For Money?

Cheers.

ACS Claw. About a tenner and I have had one for two and a half years without any issues. WI freewheels are not worth it...

Second the claw. Mine lasted four years. Currently waiting for my pikey 5 quid emergency freewheel to die so it can be replaced.

Interesting to hear the good reports of ACS claws, as my experience of one was about a month before terminal failure.
In my experience, if you ride singlespeed a lot off road, all year, all weathers, the best long term solution is WI freewheel or cassette hub and sprocket.
The exchange rate doesn't help WI prices at the moment though, but I think they are worth the extra.
