tom tom update

im going to spain in may and need to take my tom tom ,are the updates free,of do I have to pay,anybody any idea please? thank you

Hi, if you’ve only got the UK maps you’ll need to buy another map pack. I’m not sure if you can just buy Spain so it might have to be western Europe. Its 50 quid on their website.
If you’ve already got the maps then an update is 44 quid, but you get 4 updates over 12 months.

If you can pick a cheap old Garmin up I may have a backup of the Europe maps available.
