    On its way to Poland?

No, just circling around for a bit on Whernside, presumably practicing his ‘popping up from a few miles away and killing folk’ technique on day-trippers near Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Or idiots filming him from railway platforms. 🙂

    like those pics @jimmy748 🙂

    This pic is very boring.

First beer outside after a ride in 2022!

However it does mean 2 things

    1) silverfish have warrantied/fixed my very squishy / noisy X2

    2) we went to the pub and sat in the beer garden for the first time in 2022. Outside post ride beer is an important box ticked.

    Roll on the weekend 🙂

All riding is great, right. But sometimes you get those rides that just hook up to perfection. Just 80 minutes last night. Local trails. Fast and dry and grippy, not yet too dusty. Twisty rooty singletrack. Gravel bike just riding really well. Me feeling great. Gorgeous early evening sun. Trees starting to burst with green. Bluebells out.

    Some cracking photos on here.

I normally just ride the gravel bike on the flatlands of East Yorkshire but visiting family in Lancashire so took the hardtail and realised how much I miss the mtb!

Just a pootle along the banks of the Thames from the caravan site today, to here….

Here’s one from last Thursday, one of esselgrunfuttock’s toothpicks, aka the devil’s arrows. Second tallest standing stone in Britain.

And since I like that sort of thing, thought I had better tick off the tallest this week.

Last night, straight out the front door, across the road and up the river. It’s barely 7km out and back, but quite tricky in bits. Had to laugh at the teenage kids egging each other on into jumping into the river at Fankerton. It was sunny….but it’s still only April in Stirlingshire!!

Managed to talk Mrsstu into trying Prospacker.
    Went well with no tantrums.

I was “forced” into an improptu trip up Glen Feshie yesterday – a recent landslip has caused a wee bit of an issue and I wanted to see how bad it was before the Cairngorms Loop Group Start on Saturday.

I had plans to bivvy a wee bit further afield for a change but needs must eh?

    Local local tonight.
First time I’ve ridden one of the trails and it’s actually been dry.
Even dust hanging in the air at some points.

Yesterday, borrowed my brother’s old hardtail and went for a quick explore around his villa in Spain

Today, up the mountain, this photo at 1240m, with brothers friend on his spare Orbea Wild. OMG this is an ebike in it’s element. Such a great ride. Another on Saturday. Looking directly towards Gibralta and Morocco

First one must remove the sleeping spider.

I’d go for a run and hope the house had finished burning down by the time I got back

Went to watch some riding last night instead of going riding myself.
Not really a roady type of person but it was actually pretty intense racing until the field got split by a crash.
Plenty of bar banging/brushing the barriers and pedal strikes going on.
    First lap was pretty calm.

Took my Pact out for a spin round some local woods after doing a full fork service. Quite amazing how lovely it all feels again. I guess I just gradually get used to decreasing performance.

Another of last nights adventures, wee local loop,

Then up the back of gala hill, don’t think it’ll ever recover from the storms

Then, like singlespeed went into town to watch a bit of the racing
