As we bought one between me and Mrs Coolhandluke I was wondering what games might be good.

Got Super mario (daughters) and will get Mario kart.

Mahjong, utterly addicted to it for months now, sadly I don't have a Ds myself so have to pinch the lads when he's asleep.

Super Mario Bros is good too, I thought it was a bit boring at first, but it's pretty clever, esp. the two player gameplay.

Grand Theft Auto – China Town Wars is pretty grown up…I've only had a quick play but looked good

(and yes, Mario Kart is essential)

Was it you who was asking about them last week?

Mine came with brain training and someone else got me Professor Layton, which is a puzzley 'adventure' game. It's not bad.

    GTA
    Almost anything Mario
    Ebay for Tetris
Brain Training titles are good – started getting the wife into that
Zelda stuff as you have to think not just bash stuff up all the time.
The parlour games – mahjong, poker, etc are all stuff that you tend to keep going back to and don't date so much.
