Turns out it’s actually a “copy to clipboard” button!

Handy to know, having just tapped one accidentally.

Why can’t the bods at STW use some fairly obvious symbology?  The side menu still has 2 handshake icons for different functions on it!

Also, members forum posts do appear in the overview of all forums, but don’t have a symbol associated with them…  Not sure what the news forum threads have, but I think the types and uses of the icons/symbols could do with a review.

Well I never, that’s a vaguely useful thing on a forum where we do like to quote one another. But why isn’t it a more typical ‘copy to clipboard’ symbol like this:

    ???

    One can only assume It’s a “feature”….

Dear lord what’s happened to the side menu (6 dots)?  It’s got a load of new things, but using the same icons!  There are now 2 forum icons, and three handshake icons!

    Come on people!

So this button, rather than copying the text of a post, now appears to copy a hyperlink to the post. Though it still says it’s “copy to clipboard”.

While I can see value in that, would it not be better as an addition rather than a “hidden” replacement??

    It always did.

Also, can you disable the windows keyboard shortcut for ‘Undo’ in file explorer as I always accidentally press it without realizing window focus is still on file explorer after a drag and drop operation. I then must pray the resulting undone file action didn’t have any major consequences for the work I’m doing.

After disabling the undo keyboard shortcut – only for file explorer (important!) – please then add an undo button to the file explorer window so if I do actually want to undo a file action performed in file explorer – there’s an option to do so!

    Please do this quickly.

    Fanks.

Strange, when I started this thread it didn’t, hence my opening post….

I know you’re joking of course, but ctrl-y is ‘redo’.

Well the “link” symbol has disappeared, with nothing to replace it. Might ask for that feature in the main New Theme thread.
