Charlie, I mailed you a few weeks back to say I’ve since found out it clashes with a pretty important family do so can I have either my money back or can you give it to charidee? Not heard anything back either way.

Davey boy… Didn’t get the email. But that is cool. Charity it is. I can’t refund on this. As the costs don’t go down, and last year the organiser lost money due to a bad weather forecast, and refunding countless people. You are still in the cycling club, which is what the money is for, rather than the event.

What’s the crack… It’s all going ahead… Fire, music, food, sunshine…. And bikes.

Sadly it is also the Tour of Wessex weekend. Road bike torture and singlespeeding should be mutually exclusive, but weirdly not in my case this year. My new Fortitude will have to wait another year…
