Hi, just brought a second hand road bike for a bit of winter cross training. It needs two new tyres and I need some recommendations? Looking for a tyre to use in dry and wet conditions.

Conti GP4000's. Virtually immortal, quite reasonable grip. I've just taken the one off my tourer because it was starting to fray on the sides but it's done 5000 miles without a single puncture. That'll do me.

I’ve been very impressed with Conti Grand Prix 4 Seasons – got them for last winter – run them all summer – good rolling resistence – very puncture proof – and grippy wet or dry

    Vittoria Open Paves. Amazing.

GP 4 Seasons for winter use

    GP4000S for summer

Druid – that was my plan but TBH liked the 4 seasons that much didn't seem much point changing

Gatorskins if slick, Vittoria Rubino if not.

4000s, grand prix or 4 seasons
gatorskins lack the higher tpi carcass and aren't as grippy and the ride quality isn't all that.
