    Hi

Are there any good riding spots near bigbury (other than the moor)?
Are the woods nearby worth exploring?

    Thanks

Ok, thanks – I spotted a few footpaths/small woods but wasn’t expecting too much!

Theres nothing great thats close but there plenty less than an hours drive away such as haldon and woodbury near exeter, cann woods by plymouth and the moors like you said, any of those places are decent.

if you fancy a spin up around some of the places mentioned above then mail me, I’m based in Plympton next to cann woods and could show you a few routes of a couple hours or so or some dh type stuff, whatever suits really?

You can put together a great country bridleway ride connected by lanes via Aveton, South milton, Salcombe, foot ferry to Portlemouth and the best stuff around S.Allington/Prawle area.
    Dry weather only to enjoy.

    Few beers at the Sloop.
Few more up the estuary at the Milbrook.
    Hours on a yawl.
Ice cream round on Island Street.

In short, not the best place in the world for riding, but soooo good for so many other things!

PS – riding around Prawle – The Pig’s Nose FTW!
