Ah man, just after I buy one for £50 on SportPursuit. Not going to use it much, so could’ve done with a Aldi bargin.

Does the massive triangular hat come with it?

It’s not a hat. It’s a Vulcan fighter jet that just happened to be passing during the photoshoot. They painted it to look like one of the Thunderbirds, Australia’s finest arial display team.

MrsF has one – good if you’ve just got changed from swimming in the sea and it’s windy ! £35 is a bit of a bargain though. Daughter will be after one at this rate.

Tempted to get one to avoid accidentally flashing people in car parks after a bike ride.

At least if they are warmer, any accidental flashing might be more impressive.

After all the years I’ve spent getting changed in the rain in forest car parks, this is really appealing. Well, either this or a van. No interest in wearing it outside of that

Handy for camping to throw on when going to/coming back from toilet/shower block.

Also for cold nights sitting round the camp fire. Yes embers will melt holes in it, but at £35 better that than a nice goretex or down jacket. Doesn’t matter if it gets stinky smoke smell on it either.

They’re really useful in all sorts of outdoor situations, just a shame they’re too big and heavy to take bikepacking 😂

I was down the beach with a bunch of open water swimmers on solstice evening. I’d ridden down and was sat there shivering in cycling gear. They all had dry robes on. I was jealous, so bought one. How often I’ll carry it on the bike, I’m not too sure!

I commute on foot and I see people wearing them as regular coats. Makes perfect sense for about 9 months of the year in the UK. I bet their arses are warmer than mine.

None in our local store this afternoon, just some of the kids ones.

This happens at my kids school. At least four dry robes are regularly wheeled out along with countless gym outfits.

also perfect for walking the dog in winter, whilst in my pyjamas.

These were last Thursdays special buys, good luck finding any left.

None in Ilkeston today. Luckily my evening schedule has just changed and i need to drive past two other stores…..

Just grabbed one from my local, the last in an adult size. XL is arguably too big but it’ll do for being stood around at cold races this winter.

I have an original dryrobe from when they were first launched.  They are actually brilliant.  I got mine to not scare small children after I got caught mid change by a young family at swinley….poor kids….

They are also absolutely brilliant for camping.  Sit in it in an evening when its cold, and then unzip it and use it as a blanket for sleeping.

Getting some of these for the kids.
