Quiet at the back you mucky bunch! What I mean are pop up books for ‘grown ups’ not 18 rated offerings for smutty people. Has anyone got any recommendations for a decent pop up book? I could use Google etc but STW often is better because there’s bound to be someone here who knows about this sort of thing.

    TIA, Ambrose

They’re not books in the sense of being a text-based story with illustrations but might be worth look at some of Yusuke Oono’s work. Theyre a book that transforms into a sort of narrative sculpture.  I bought a few last year as presents.

I got a Fungus The Bogeyman plop-up book as a Christmas present many years ago. I was over 18 but it’d be a stretch to say either I or the book was adult other than technically tbh.

I only came here to mention the Fungus the Bogeyman Plog-up Book (deliberately named ‘plop-up’). I still have my original copy from some 30+ years ago in mint condition – I have a small collection of pop-up books from around that time. 🙂

I forgot all about Wicked Willy 🙂

The books were pretty funny considering the concept.
