A quick pano taken from Hungerford Bridge, looking East, St Paul’s glowing in the misty distance.

Shawn Colvin, at the Royal Festival Hall, about an hour before.

Quite like the organic feel of this. Just started using Lightroom so I’m still experimenting.

I’m sure we can come to some kind of arrangement, Martin…

Love this thread, it just keeps on delivering! 😀
Oh, and JohnClimber, where was that beach photo taken? There’s more than a few like that buried in the sand between Brean and Burnham-on-Sea, south of Weston-Super-Mare. Dumb emmets!

Yup – it just keeps coming. Brilliant. Here’s my heavily pregnant wife enjoying the Autumn sunshine.

And later in the day, walking the dog…

User, great pics, and your lady’s lovely, good luck with the delivery. 😀
I inadvertently clicked on page 1of this thread, and strangely there’s a photo of deer on there, and one of rail lines as well! Spooky 😀
One day, when I’ve got faaaaar too much time on my hands, I’m going to go through this thread from the beginning…

Cheers Zokes. Imagine what 24 joined up tiff files are doing to my hard drive though!

‘Twas a grand day to be on the hills.

I think I have about 5 TB including backups. I’ve had my 5DII pretty much since launch – that’s a lot of 30 MB RAW files….

I dread to think how a ‘real’ photographer copes

Glencoe shot is amaing, Jad; so much detail.

I’ve been digging about for old RAW files to play around with in Lightroom – awesome bit of software which I might even purchase after the trial period is up. Time to move on from my lazy reliance on jpegs…

I really really rate it – as much for its indexing capabilities as its editing.

The only thing that annoys me is its limited scope for ‘healing’ blemishes. Given the dusty place in which I live, crud on sensor is an inevitability even if I’m super careful changing lenses.

The other option is to “subscribe” to PS6, which at about $30 per month doesn’t seem such a bad idea.

Yep, lightroom’s brilliant. It does most things that I used to do with Photoshop apart from things like layers or stitching. I just use basic Elements for this though. Just using Lightroom as a database is worth he money alone.

Photographing in RAW is the best move you can make.

A couple of shots from a quick trip into the Peaks yesterday. Went looking for some autumn colour shots…
    [/url]

But ended up stumbling across a hill climb (possibly BUCS?), so took some shots of that too…

Jad, that Glen Coe pano is astonishing, absolutely fantastic, the detail just makes you look at it for ages.
I like your urban leaf, too, hoodie.

Nothing special visually, but significant as I had all but given up riding and this was the first ride I have properly enjoyed in ages. Just me, a nice autumn day and my bike…

    Lovely shot.

But clearly fake as the weather is never like that in Glencoe. 🙂
