If I'm being honest, it was a complete fluke. I took lots of photos and achieved a very low success:failure ratio.

stuartie_c – what kind of settings were you using there if you don't mind me asking? Esp shutter speed 🙂

Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 18 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

I just had my default aperture-priority mode with a large aperture to blur the background. Low light meant a slow shutter speed, but it was more by good luck than good judgement.

BBQ last night after a day riding in the peaks with my best mate. Ideal.
