Nice Andy. I’d buy stuff from him. Looks a decent guy. And a great shop.

You know it’s not generally my thing, but that’s an astonishing image.

Not posted on this thread yet, but took this the other day with my phone and it turned out quite… nice.
Am now thinking I should return to the photo-a-day clan after a 7 year break!

Thanks Andy! Loved your one of the kids drawing on the wall.

What brought you down to Brighton? Of course it’s practically on my doorstep so if you ever visit again drop me a line, it would be nice to buy you a beer.

I wondered if you were down that area.
I have friends that live there and was on way to IOW for a week.
Very photogenic spot and people, compared to lakes it is a photo opportunity overload…

I went for a wonder on the Ashdown Forest to try out my new (to me) Nikon 12-24 lens and new Manfrotto tripod. I still need to get used to using a UWA but I’m quite happy with the sharpness:

Proud of myself for getting excited about going out and shooting some landscapes for the first time in bloody ages. Helps when you’re in a beautiful city and it’s snowing!

Three_Fish, I thought your last photo looked familiar. And indeed it is! Here’s my mate’s wedding photo (he’s a geologist) taken in, I’m guessing, the same place!

    Nice shot Kit.

    Cheers pal.

I thought your last photo looked familiar…

Crikey. I’ve an older version, from 2011, which is very close to yours in terms of composition. I was confused for a moment* when the page loaded the ‘latest post’ and my old photo appeared but with some people getting married in it. Very much WTF unto the penny dropped.

Not really an amazing photo, but as someone who’s shy, introverted, lacks self confidence and all that jazz, it takes a lot to put my face out there publicly. Actually, the photo is the – relatively – easy bit. The video that’s going to follow is the truly hard part! God I’m dreading editing that 😐 But needs must to promote my business. And you never know, I might one day enjoy it.

Thanks Matthew. I really like ‘Time Moves Swiftly…’, it has an almost cinematic feeling, like something out of high brow psychological thriller.

It does and I applaud your for it. So what is the business, I’m guessing it’s photography, perhaps aerial photography?

Towan beach, down the far end of the Roseland peninsular. Quite liking my new camera!
