On One Parkwood -Sizing

Hi,

Currently looking at the full build On One Parkwood, amazing spec for the price, I am 5 foot 6, oh and female. Any women out there riding them? What sizing would you recommend for my height?

Also, any reasons not to pull the trigger on this one?

5′ 11″ male riding a medium 18″ Fireline (same frame but in Ti) with a 55mm stem and 711mm bars.

I’m quite long on the arms and torso and like to feel in the frame rather than stretched over it.

If you’re the same with longer body and shorter legs you may need a medium but I would’ve thought a small may be better suited to your height.

They’re great frames with good stand over for the shorter of leg, slacker head angle is great for descending and yet still climb well without having to hang over the front on steep climbs.

Great value although its a shame the £1k version has dropped the Reverb it came with last year.

16″/small is definitely your size. I’m 5′ 9″ and I’d be getting a 16″ (Currently on a 16″ Scandal 29er)

I don’t have one yet, but I’d suggest you are a small.

I’m looking at getting one but I’m right at the boundary of Medium and Large.
That link above would suggest a Medium, but I called On-One and they said Large! Can any owners give me better advice?

BTW, they also said the frames are delayed, so more like mid Feb than 31st Jan as it says on their website.

I’m 6′ with 31″ inside leg and ride a medium with a straight post and a 70mm stem.

I think the TT on the medium frame was 610mm so they are longer than a lot of mediums, so I’d say Small would suit you better.

Take their TT measurement and apply it to a current bike you are comfortable with, then work out the stem length you’d need….or make the trip up to one of their stores and ask them/ sit on a Small bike etc.

I think the Parkwood is an accomplished and worthwhile bike. I’ve been doing about 100 miles per week on mine since mid December when I built it up, and I have no adverse comment to make….and I’m not averse to making adverse comments if I think there is something adverse about a product!!!!

29″ or the B+ one they’ve had on FB?

im 6″ 2″ and ride a large with a 50mm stem, although might change that for a 60mm in due course.

Built mine from frame only and really like it.
