    Tony Martin is home, holding his advantage over Chris Froome. Now, here comes Bradley Wiggins, turning towards the finish line… what will the clock say? It’s good news… great news in fact. he is more than 40 seconds faster than Martin, and is the fastest man home.

    That just leaves Fabian Cancellara to arrive, but he was more than a minute slower at the last time check. Barring something incredible, gold is in Wiggo’s grasp.

    not only that – at least now he will be remembered as the winner of the 2012 TDF and 2012 olympic TT – and not as the british press love to do remembered as the guy who lost the olympics.

    If you take into account everything else i think Wiggo wins by a mile simply because of the TdF win.
