Why wouldn’t they ride tubeless?

RE Tubless …because the risk of a pinch flat from a skinny fella is rather low 😉

Tubs are tubeless sort of, don’t know if they run sealant. I wouldn’t think so as races are short in this case and punctures unlikely. In longer stuff there is often a car following with wheels and time less critical.

Not really – only in that they rarely pinch because there’s no rim hook to pinch on. They still have an inner tube sewn into the tyre.

Road tubeless when it comes will be great IMO – the scariest experience of my life was a front wheel puncture at about 40mph on a bend…

Damn it i should have brought a radio to work!! No-one else in my office is even remotely interested. They might be a bit surprised when i start shouting at the monitor…
