    RockShox has revealed its new Charger 3.1 damper platform, which will be added to a selection of 2025 forks.

    Seems like a mix of about 50% real, useful upgrades and about 50% “lol we ****ed up the last version”, so I guess that’s Rockshox finally meeting Fox on their own terms…

    Touchdown sounds suspiciously like the old trek/penske reactiv digressive dampers? Which was completely bloody awesome but could do some very odd things with rider inputs, it functioned much like an anti-blowoff that was fully open initially then firmed up so if you were right around the tipping point you never knew quite what the shock would do. Is there a platform, is there not? Find out once you’re in the air!
