Nettles or brambles?

Bramble thorns break off and the tiny tips get stuck in you, so nettles for me. I quite like nettle stings anyway!

Is it me, or is the undergrowth just that little bit higher, thicker and more aggressive this year?

I’m riding the same places as previous years, but can’t remember there being quite as much bushwhacking occurring. I was thinking it’s all the showers mixed with mild weather.
