    hi all i’m working in banbury next week with a few days off is there any trails worth visiting no more than 1.5hrs drive ??????

    woburn sands is probably an hour away.

    Yeah, Woburn, Forest of Dean is around that time from Banbury, Edgehill for steep very short push up tracks, Cannock? Lots of xc about but not always the most exciting.

    Cotswolds areas reachable from there.

    FOD more like 1.40- 2hrs
    BPW 2hrs 20
    Cannock 2hrs
    Depends where you normally ride, but if you can get a day then BPW is worth the extra miles. It has become our local, leave at seven, there for first lift suited and booted by ten.
    Woburn is prob within 1.5hrs, though.

    You can go south on the M40 and be in the Chilterns in 1.5 hrs. Great riding there. Endless XC hills, woods, singletrack. Proper riding and enough to fill your boots.

    Woburn is the answer for sure.
    Shout if you need any pointers, may even be around mid week if we all get laid off on Monday!
    I live near the woods and commute to Oxford daily so I’d say Banbury is no more than an hour from Woburn.
