    7:30 pm The New Grove Inn, Whitefield. M45 6AB. Meet in the beer garden round the back, accessed via Knowsley Street.

    Parking is tight, so use Knowsley Street or Charnley Street. The darts team are playing, so let’s not clog up the car park.

    Bring money for a pint. And crisps.
