So just got a new PC, Mcafee security centre is pre-installed, is it still the work of the devil (he's a pretty interesting fella though) or a useful utility?

bloated horrible useless rubbish. kill it with fire.
get mse instead... free, lightweight and very capable.

make sure you uninstall Mcafee as well. You normally need to download somethign from their site to do this.

tis poop, (is it same platform as Trend), that's shiiit, causes no end of problems on work laptop, now uninstalled with free AVG in it's place.
slight hijake - why does AVG keep telling me that IE is using excessive memory -normally around the 192kb range??
