the healing effects of honey?
tarot cards?
ghosts?
psychic powers?
powerband bracelets?

go on then, what is it that you believe in? doesn't matter that you can't explain it or defend it, or that the rest of society mocks you for holding such beliefs... this is not the place to argue if eating vitamin D tablets will or won't cure your nasty underbeard rash or that god doesn't exist so how can ghosts, its just a thread for the believers 🙂

The internet is actually real and what you say on it should be taken as a reflection of what you actually think and how you would actually act

Mentioning the 'P' word in conjunction with the words 'don't get them with these tyres' will incur the wrath of the god of 'p*******' and you will get countless P's forever thereafter.

people who dont work for themselves are lazy and take too many sick days.
parenthood messes with peoples brains and makes rational thought impossible.

Reliability of Hope components is an embarrassment to British manufacturing, and the fanboys who rejoice over their "legendary" customer support are somehow missing the point.

I don't believe that "sick days" exist, only days where you don't feel very well in the office.

I do agree, but also...

People who work for themselves tend to overstate how hard they really work.

The rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain.

Although I'm not sure if the Spanish call them plains. They probably have a much more exciting name for them that makes them sound dangerous, or wild, or something, as opposed to the UK thoughts I have of plains which mainly involves mud, puddles and being made to walk everywhere.

1/ that the universe is far more surprising, complex and intricate that either the scientists or religicists could possibly imagine.

2/ that your gut instinct is always right. the hard part is being able to hear it clearly.

I believe.....

People who work for themselves confuse the work they get paid to do with posting on STW and therefore think they're busier than they actually are.

That self-build PCs demand a blood payment before working properly. Every PC I've built and not cut myself has been a bastard, the ones where I slashed myself and bled into the case, trouble free.
