What’s the name of the white grease? It seems to be the stuff to use on Dropper internals, but I don’t know what it’s called, or what it’s better than normal ‘Strawberry Jam’ bike grease.

I just use suspension grease – Stendec, or, if I’m feeling flush, Slick Honey etc. My current tub of Stendec will probably last me a few years yet.

I’ve got an old tube of white Finish Line (maybe Teflon?) grease that doesn’t get much use – a tube of red strawberry jam Halfords goes on nearly everything as the white stuff seems to ‘dry’. Maybe it dries to a teflon lubricant but it doesn’t seem to have any Lube properties at that point.

Best stuff i’ve used is JCB Branded Blue Grease

Use to use that when I use to drive a digger. A quick squirt in the weed basket twice a day as it spent its life in the water.

Ordered a tub of the Maxima waterproof grease after reading the Vital and MTB-Mag reviews.

Any recommendations for a small grease gun other than the Park one?
Also what’s the best way to get the grease in to it.

Not much difference in price between the others and the Park one on Ebay. The Park one will accept a screw in tube of grease as well as the refillable canister, wooden spatula or an old knife or spoon works for us.

Unless you need to get the grease into a grease port, then a small paint brush will do most jobs better. However if you want one a Dualco mini is good. You just smush the grease in it and screw it back up. The park and dualco are basically the same product however.

I have 2 of these. One for each marine grease I have.😁

The fine point is great to inject the grease into cartridge bearings.👍

    £14.75 delivered.
