My feelings exactly, which is why my choice was very close to oliverd1981:

G-101, even more understated, which I like. No longer available though, but the G-100 is.

convert, that one is about £87 on Amazon but price keeps changing. I got the all black for about £75.

This seems to be the least worst (to me) I’ve found. But at £135 its not really a utility watch any more.

That’s the one I have, I think I paid about £70 off amazon, using gift vouchers. I love it.

If you find one you like, set up a camelcamelcamel alert on it, the prices are up and down like a whore’s drawers.

Yep, bought one recently – treated myself – fully analogue, big, chunky and black & orange

Got fed up with shiny Fossil watches which never last more than 2 years or little dainty Casio watches which looks as though i stole them of a school girl 🙂

Most watches look like that on me. Most straps only just fit too!
