Off to the Alps in a month, and we'll be doing a bit more climbing than normal (say 80% down to 20% up). Don't really want to use my 2.7 Fr and 2.5 R Hi-rollers….

Has anyone run a 2.5 front and 2.35 rear hi-roller combo?

Why dont you want to run a 2.7? Why do you choose to run a narrower rear?
It sounds as if you have already half made a decision…
Personally I wouldnt use a high roller for "extra" climbing but that`s my choice, too "draggy" once it starts to get worn, from experience

What compound are you talking about? I'd run 2.5's each end, ST up front and 60a at the rear.
