    What an incredible programme.
You really must salute the Dutch in their endeavour to give these airmen a funeral.

Indeed. Very sobering, but fantastic that it’s happening.

It was dreadful. Not the act itself, but the programme. A classic case of repeatedly telling you what you have just seen over and over again. 10 mins of actual content with 50 mins of recaps plus adds.

I was going to ask if that was the case as it seems to be a major thing with every GM programme, probably give it a swerve now.

It was. Perhaps even more so this time. Although we were saved the usual fluff from Sean Dooley telling us how well Guy did X and how great everyone who helped him do X thought he did it.

Unfortunately there also seemed to be more ad breaks to stretch it out to a 90 min programme as well.

Agree, too much recapping and as it neared 9:45 I was thinking they going to have to get a wiggle on to be done by 10, not realising it was 90 minutes.  Defo no more than an hour of content on that one.  Nonetheless, I found it incredibly moving when they were piecing together the fate of that particular plane and crew, makes it very human, and then multiplied by hundreds. It did get dusty watching it.

The difference on this occasion is it really wasn’t Guy’s project, he was there mainly observing and a little bit of hands on.  Bearing in mind they were dealing with the likelihood of finding human remains, this is understandable.

Continuity department must have a nightmare with his ever changing hair though!

Guy wasn’t as annoying as usual and didn’t repeat himself as often, repeat himself as often. Chief

The dryness of the Dutch investigator.was a.stark contrast to GM’s warmth.

Point of honour to the Dutch government. Quite stirring for them to go to that length as it must have cost a fair few Euros.

€1.5million for those 3 blokes. And they are proud to spend it. Some governments would do well to take notice.
