    Hi all,
As mentioned in my other thread the other day, Im gonna get new airbags (2 bags, ECU module and split ring) for my Ford Focus Mk1, off eBay.
I asked my local garage (who will be fitting them) to get the part numbers for the parts. However, the numbers are nothing like the ones on the ebay auctions.

For example, the code I got for the drivers airbag is "1087768", whereas all the ones on ebay are similar to "98ABA042B85DCYYFY".

Anyone know what the deal is?

    Ta, Duane.

first number is a finis code, the second one is the engineering part number, which should actually be on the part. main dealers normally deal with finis codes, but i dont think they are on the actual part. look on your original parts to see what it says on them

Try having a search on here, it lists the FINIS codes and part numbers…

I've found it handy in the past. 😉
