    Ikea Antilop high chair.

Ergonomic genius (zero adjustment but somehow fits a huge range of kid sizes), no crevices, no fabric, no padding, cheap, indestructible, jetwashable 🙂

With you on the high chair.

Also comes apart easily for ptmpagd and the seat goes in the dishwasher. Really!

    English (Raleigh) Three Speeder:

Millions made to provide transport before we all became car zombies.

Revered the world over except in rhe UK it seems.

without getting into the relative arguments about strat vs tele vs LP, the strat is an ergonomically fabulous bit of kit as well as it being the design that stood apart from all the other designs that are borrowed from acoustic guitar design templates

I’m with you on that, and also think this should be there in that case [wonderful minimal design and engineering, groundbreaking tonearm* manufacturing method]

The old British Rail logo was a masterpiece and was heavily inspired by Switzerland where they still do it properly. it contributes to the whole experience of travelling by train – look at the clarity of the info on that platform board.

Cheap as you like but more comfortable than desginer classics costing thousands and seems to work whether you’re short or tall

That SL1210 has won the thread as far as I’m concerned. I’ve owned mine for pretty much exactly half of my life and I can’t see myself ever letting go of them. Interestingly, it looks like they are still worth almost exactly what I paid for them in 1999.
