Ever eaten something that made you puke immediately?

Chinese Century Egg nearly did it for me recently. Was told that they’re an acquired taste but I usually up for trying anything so just peeled it and took a bite – the taste and smell of the ammonia was overwhelming I nearly barfed right away but managed to contain myself as I spat the contents of my mouth into the bin.

Served up with soy sauce, ginger & spring onion they’re rather nice, however!

I once drank vinegar, neat, about a double shot – that was grim it didn’t stay down long.

Foodwise – I got food poisoning once of a meal, not sure which bit, but it was a delayed reaction so doesn’t count. Mostly though I can eat most things, I just choose not too.

I did eat the eye of a cooked sea-bass once, that wasn’t nice, but I washed it down with more beer, and it stayed down too.

Ermm am I confusing this with the rave thread 😯
