or the owners club usually has a deal with some broker and a lot of insurance companies will insure classics so worth trying a few.

Try Peter James insurance. The guy was one of the founders of Footman James Insurance and has split away from them. When i last insured my Triumph he was giving stupidly cheap quotes.

Try a few in the mags. like any insurance, depends on the risk, so you have to shop around. May be worth a go on confused.com.

    What are you driving?

footman james were consistently cheapest when I had my ’66 mgb, lancaster/mgoc were a lot more expensive.

however when I sold that and bought my morgan fj were quite pricey. cheapset was performance direct (found via confused) who also beat the morgan specikalists.

in short, shop about and don’t forget to ensure you have an agreed valuation.

If it’s only for Summer days, high days and holidays, then limited milage Insurance is also worth a look.
