So I am flying Spain to Belgium on monday and I need to fix my nieces bike down there.

Any one flew with bearing grease in hand luggage? Small pot only 100 grams?

I got a LEGO cristmas tree and raindeer carriage as well but they should be fine.

If it’s less than 100ml and presented in a clear ziplock bag along with other toiletries I don’t think anyone will notice, or care

I’d just buy the grease in Belgium.

Smear it through your hair and extract it on arrival.

You could decant some. You’ll not need all 100ml

I had a jar of pesto confiscated as I lost the ‘is it a liquid’ argument.

    How liquid is your grease?

Some may class that as dangerous goods. But as mentioned above get them to buy grease there and use it.

I watched someone get a tub of hummus taken off them at Edinburgh airport two weeks ago, how thick is the grease?

Stick a small amount in a tiny container, put it in your clear toiletries bag.

Just tell them it’s lube and give them a wink.

It’s probably classed as hazardous. Chain lube is if I remember correctly. Irrespective, a small volume, in an appropriate volume-labelled otherwise non-descript container masquerading as a toiletry product should get by. Do you need to take 100mL? That’s a fair amount of grease.
