BBB Cycling Glasses

Are there any big differences or advantages to either of these, was thinking of purchasing one of the two mainly for the road.
or is it just down to the lens shape? as they both come with 3 lenses etc and are similar pricing.

Roadie I spoke to the other week loves them. I’d guess the first lot would probably clear fogging faster but only just. And of course they’re only for world champs.

Do you know which pair he had?

I recently purchased the Selects, had my first ride out in them a couple of days ago. They’re fantastic for the price, look much nicer in the flesh than in the pic, really lightweight, seem really solid. Comfortable and don’t slip due to the rubber grippers. They’re really good value when you consider they come with three lenses, cleaning cloth cum pouch, and a proper firm case to hold it all in. So overall I’m really happy. Ribble was the best in terms of price – £45 I believe. I haven’t had them fog up at all, but then it was really warm. I can’t comment on the others but personally I wouldn’t buy glasses with rainbow stripes on them!

Thanks for that feedback Alejandro. I’ve been using Bolle safety glasses for a couple of years and can’t justify upgrading to some Oakleys as Im sure I’ll drop them or they’ll fall out of my jersey pocket as stuff does. So thought I’d give these a go. Had looked at DHB but have read they seem to be quite a wide fit.

I had some cheap DHB ones in the past and they didn’t fit at all – they came way too close to the face and pushed my eyelashes against my eyes, quite uncomfortable. The BBB’s have adjustable nose pads, which you can push in/out and they will stay that way. You get what you pay for etc…

Great glasses for the money – lens quality is good and most of the range fit well. Have a look at BBB “Winner” as well, BSG39.
