Big night out in the middle of Briz soon (Hippodrome).

Not too familiar with the centre. Where’s the best, free and safeset place to park the car for the evening?

under @bristol is the safest but it aint free.
a lot of parking bays are only a quid after 7pm i think for the rest of the evening though.

Closest is Trenchard Street multistorey. You’ll struggle to find anywhere free without a lengthy walk.

personally I would pay for the parking under @Bristol, otherwise you will have a long walk (although not more than 20 minutes). Parking around the center is never good.

It depends what time you plan on arriving. I’d try Horfield Rd (off St Michael’s Hill, behind the BRI) or Perry Row. There’s usually a space or several until 7:30ish. If they fail, go to Trenchard St park, just along Park Row from Perry Row, which is 2 mins from the Hippo

Dont park @bristol unless you are flush with cash it is expensive

Street parking after 6pm is £1.80 ish untill 8am the next day except sunday when its free

Trenchard multistorie is £1.80 ish after 6pm and normal rates the nextday other than sunday I think.

Check with Parking services they will let you know whats what and are quite helpfull

@ bristol is safe, very well lit (it’s the only one mrs deadly will use if she’s on her own) and you get to see the freak show in the town centre as you’re walking back. But, it’s pricey. Likely to cost around £4 or thereabouts for the evening. Trenchard Street is best value. If I was advising a mate, I’d say @bristol for convenience. Plenty of pubs around the waterfront as well if you fancy a post show drink (Watershed is my suggestion, the rest are what are termed these days “Vertical Drinking Establishments”).
