    O rings work fine for me TBH but lost mine and was wondering if there was a better alternative seeing as they want about £4.00 for a bit of rubber on ebay

    how big is the o-ring??

    a set like this may help

    or maybe smaller packs from one of the sheds.

    Bearing Traders or local equivalent will sell you an o ring of similar size for around 20p.

    Thanks both – was thinking of a quick release clamp of some kind but at least I know where to get O rings if not

    I used a clamp from a lumicycle lamp on mine.

    Just borrowed a mate’s light with a vistalite clamp fitted to it
