The magicshine RN3000 that a couple of people are recommending do not review well.
I found mine to be a very good off-road light let down by two things:
Too many modes – should really be off-low-med-high. No flash, LHS/RHS only modes needed.
The cowl at the front top should have more of an overhang so you don’t dazzle yourself when climbing out of the saddle.
I only changed as I’m a slut for nice bike things and put an Exposure outlet store (and STW discount) Maxx-D mk13 on the bars. Neither the Maxx-D or RN3000 are road-oriented lights, and those two reviews seem very road. Off-road it’s another story.
