One could be forgiven for thinking we’re seeing the unravelling of an individual who has diverted his attention away from things he can control in his life to things where he can vent and use as an outlet for what’s going on internally.

I think for people who fall down that conspiracy sink hole the first thing you lose (or throw away really) is good friends. What you gain is people who will egg you on and let you take the fall for what are for them quite loosely held beliefs, that they’ll trade next week for some other claptrap. ‘Critical’ isn’t part of the game – its a world where people just offer each other more and more embellishments to their fantasies.

He is the very model of toxic masculinity (and possibly very unwell too).

Look at his Xitter feed, and not only is he completely unrepentant and unapologetic for what he says, he considers himself to be completely in the right, and everyone else to be wrong. He really doesn’t seem to give a shit. It’s everyone else’s responsibility for the situation he finds himself in.
